PKMNation: The Softest Awakening

Elisaria:
Klaus watched as Shadow stared down the Mega Gengar that had brought the menacing hoard to dine on their trainers' dreams. The stare down didn't last long. It was interrupted by a rustle coming from the trees, the noise drawing the attention of all those present to it. Klaus had gotten ready to fight again but soon dropped his stance when he saw what came out.

("What are those?") Asch asked. Natalia, ever silent, only glanced at him, quickly turning her attention back to the newcomers. Haladie only said ("They don't seem hostile") before turning to look at Klaus and Shadow for some sort of guidance as to what to do with these new Pokémon.

("They... look like plushies?") Klaus scratched his head. This was definitely a first for him. ("They are rather cute though... Shadow, what do you think we should do?")

Rosbelle:
The Lugia stared down at these mysterious Pokémon, still cautious from the roaring battle that her and her affiliates had just finished. Of course she was weary, her trainer was still down and out for the count, so why be friendly now? Despite her feelings, Shadow didn’t feel a bit of hostility from the strangers, and she lowered herself close to them. “Hello… I have a feeling that you are here to help.” She spoke softly for once this day, her calm a soothing tone. When the little plushies gave their endearing smiles and their button eyes didn’t break from her strong gaze, she gave a softened sigh and let them pass. “I sense they are good creatures. Please, allow them to approach our masters.”

The other ranch Pokémon stared up at the Lugia; she /never/ allowed strangers near their master and her friends. Especially not ones that popped up out of nowhere like this. Nexxis stood by her trainer as the three approached them, her ears bent back and a grump look on her face. She didn’t trust them, not after the last visit they had just gone through. Custard tucked behind the Eevee and her nearby son, with the dark Charmander hanging nearby. They were all just too cautious, and if weren’t for Shadow’s word that their presence was a safe one, they’d all be on edge.

Well, they did become rather upset when the plushies used a Wake Up Slap on their masters, and the only thing that stopped them from tearing the stuffing out was the fact that their dear leaders had awoken. Startled, and completely unaware of what had happened. Ross was the first to rise, almost shooting up causing for her already ruffled hair to go wild. “Wha?! What happened? Nexxis? Akzeriuth, Azazel everyone… what in the world?”

Elisaria:
The plush-like Pokémon walked up to their trainers, starting with Ross first. Yatagan almost yelled out in surprise when one of them gave a big slap to her face, making the Distant Skies Ranch owner shoot up, suddenly awakened from her slumber. All that she and her fellow 'mons could do was stare in awe with jaws open.

It also took a lot out of Klaus to not jump over to his trainer and wrap his body around her to protect her from harm. If he had not respected Shadow he definitely would have. When Eli arose, he stopped tears from coming to his hollow eyes and strolled up to her. His long neck and head looped around her neck, resting on her shoulder, nuzzling up against her.

Yatagan followed suit, not checking to see if the others had done the same. She sat in Eli's lap and, knowing that Eli couldn't really understand what she was saying, told her ("We were so worried about you..."). Natalia flew up to rest on her head while Haladie and  Asch went to opposite sides of her and clung to her arms.

Eli wasn't entirely sure what to say at this spectacle. All she could do was hug them back and whisper apologies and thanks to them. "Don't worry, Ross and I are well."

Rosbelle:
Ross was first tackled by the baby dragon, the little thing clinging to his master and leaving tears to trail down his cheeks. (“Oh Mama Ross!! We were so worried and so, so scared! Please, please don’t ever leave us again!”) Nexxis soon followed by laying on top of a leg, and then the other conquered by her grandson Akzeriuth. Azazel stuck his clawed paw out and rested it against her feet; he was too shy to really show his relief or happiness, but the small flush that caught his cheeks and the tiny, happy smile that came his muzzle for a few moments showed it clear enough for Ross to grow her own warm smile. “Shhh, Custard please, I’m fine! Ahaaha.” She gave him a few head pats and rubs and then moved in turn with the others nearby. Shadow’s head had come down to lean and nudge against her master’s back, and Ross turned to give her a big smile and rub her head. “Thank you Shadow, I’m sure you took great care of the ranch.”

“I did. These visitors have helped you Ross. You should thank them.” She gave another nudge to her trainer, and the young woman gave a crooked smile and huff before she gave her attention to the small plushies. “Thank you all… I’m not sure what happened but, you’ve fixed this. Is there anything that we can do in return?” The trio gave a few gibberish words for a moment before Shadow gave an explanation. “They’ve said that right now they have something in mind but that can wait for now. The Gengar were doing wrong and they came in to help because it did not feel right to them.” Ross gave a small handshake to each Pokémon, and let Eli in to do the same.

Elisaria:
When Eli finished her greeting with the plushie Pokémon, she let out a heavy sigh. How long had it been? One day? Two? A week even? She wasn't really sure. When she was asleep she had lost track of time. What she did know that the sun was beginning to set, so it had been at least a day.

"How long have we been out?" she asked Shadow. When the large Lugia told her that it had been a little over a day, she nodded. So there wasn't too much to worry about. But even though she had been sleeping for a little over 24 hours now, she was still tired. It had been a restless sleep the entire time, entirely unpleasant. She looked at Ross and gave a small smile. "Should we go inside? I'd like something to eat, I'm starved!" She laughed at herself and her Pokémon chirped up in agreement.

("Ugh, yes please. I bet I could eat literally all the food in Ross's house right now!") Asch followed his claims with dashing off to the house, followed by Haladie who wouldn't back down from a fight with him at any time, and Natalia who always followed along with them. Klaus and Yatagan watched them as they ran and looked to the two trainers for the 'A-OK'. Eli gave a nod and looked at Ross for approval as well.

Rosbelle:
Ross gave an approving nod and headed towards the house, holding Custard’s hand on the way back. “Yup, let’s eat whatever we can find!” She exclaimed, leading her own Pokémon into the house. The trainer reached out for Shadow, giving her muzzle a rub before heading indoors. “I promise to get the house renovated soon so you can come in too. Thank you so much Shadow. I’ll be out to check on you soon.” The Lugia gave a strange purr of sorts, and took up her resting place next to the house.

After settling down and scavenging the home for whatever foods they could find and eat quickly, the trainers and Pokémon were finally settled in and getting caught up on the great purple fight that they had participated in. Akzeriuth had coaxed Asch into doing an act of the fight with him, and the two enjoyed themselves as the others looked on at the scene. Ross gave a squeezing hug to Custard, who sat on her lap during the show. “I hear that you were a big boy and defended our home.” She said to him teasingly, and the little dragon got shy and gave a few approving nods. “Well, thank you so much. You’re growing so fast Custard. I’m so proud.”

And with those words out Ross went to go check on Shadow; it was important to her that the large Pokémon was involved in the on goings of the home. When the trainer returned, she has a mysterious look on her face and approached the three plushie Pokémon. “Shadow says you have something to ask us?”
